Which type of group or retreat are you planning for?
For church leaders looking to enhance your family discipleship program…
The heartbeat of Clear View Retreat’s mission is Family Camps. As such, we can partner with your church to ease the burden on your staff while we provide all the pertinent information (and flyers) to get the families organized, packed and prepared; we write and execute the curriculum (which can be tailored to your church’s family discipleship focus if desired); we plan the activities for the Family Camp; and we prepare all the meals. In short, we do all the work. All the families have to do is show up and let the Lord work in their hearts.
Clear View Retreat Family Camps are small in nature on purpose. Individuals can easily disengage and isolate themselves in large groups. With only four families coming away together, the family members really get a chance to know each other better and to connect more deeply with others in the group. This added connection allows for a richer level of family discipleship and the ability to return to every day life with a community focus that allows for deeper intimacy and accountability as well as a desire to reach out to the lost and the hurting.
Churches usually have wonderful men’s, women’s, and youth retreats at various locations, but families are not always “on the same page,” even after these great and much-needed events. By bringing the whole family away together in a small, intimate setting, we can expand God’s kingdom and live life on this earth more abundantly, as He plans for us.
