Clear View Retreat family camps offer an opportunity for families to step away from the chaos of everyday life and journey toward a new beginning in abundant family living.  Think of CVR as combining a biblical retreat with the family vacation. As a Christian family retreat center, CVR focuses on encouraging families to invest in those relationships that matter most in their lives. Spending time together, having a common ‘language,’ and enjoying some serious fun are at the heart of family discipleship!

During a family camp, each family has its own cabin with all meals provided. Activities and programming include family devotionals, interactive Bible discussion, a children’s program, and plenty of free time to participate in the recreational activities around us. Families may attend by themselves or with other families they know. (Please contact us for the best individual family attendance dates.)

We do encourage small group families to retreat together. Biblical community is not just a ‘catch phrase’ around here. Being “alone in the crowd” happens all too often today.  Clear View Retreat family camps are designed to be small in nature to enhance the opportunity for true biblical community. A small group of families–from a church small group, community, neighborhood, work space, etc.–may come away to enrich and deepen their ‘living life’ together. Building biblical intimacy and accountability in and among families is our priority. Through small group discussions, family lessons, and fellowship time, we help families strengthen their relationships in light of God’s healing and fulfilling Word.

Developing intentional intimacy is a process that should include fun and adventure. With CVR nestled between two Clear Creek access points and close to a national park, three state parks, a wildlife area, and more, a small group can plan a wonderful getaway that allows good financial stewardship while beginning a new and fascinating journey together. Details:

A Family Camp Weekend runs Friday evening through Sunday afternoon, with meals and activities beginning on Friday evening at 7 and going through lunch on Sunday afternoon. We have four family cabins, so each family has its own space: bedrooms, bathroom, kitchenette, and living room. Adults cost $150 each, with each child costing $75. Scholarships are available.
