‘Serve Together’ Saturdays:

With our ‘Serve Together’ Saturdays, we are asking that a particular small group or other organization spear-head the Saturday as we bring additional volunteers alongside your group/organization to complete the projects. These Saturdays are in conjunction with our Family Mission Trip dates so that families can serve together, learn together, and grow together.

New trails blazed (with new acreage available for trails!)

Landscaping work

Parking areas and lane grated

Lodge:

  • INSTALLATION of a double wall oven (We have the oven!)
  • Insulation (materials needed)
  • Conversion of plumbing to PEX (materials needed) YAHOO! It’s done!
  • Roof repair
  • Electrical work (220s wired, some areas rewired / some materials needed)

Rustic/Volunteer cabins (bunk houses):

  • Electricity run from pole (trenching and rewiring)
  • Deep cleaning
  • Plumbing install (materials needed)

Quad (family cabins):

  • Skirting (some materials on-hand)
  • Roof repair (some materials on-hand) OR roof replaced (materials needed)
  • Insulation on Cabins 1, 2, and 3 (materials needed)
  • Flooring replaced in Cabin 2 (materials on-hand)

Activity cabin:

  • Insulation underneath (some material on-hand)

Items needed for projects to be completed

Wall insulation

Attic insulation

Building skirting

  • Lattice
  • Hardy board/masonite
  • Old metal roofing (with rust is great!)

Porch railing and support posts

Treated wood for stairs and porch flooring

Flooring–wood or vinyl is preferred

Wall and ceiling paneling/pine boards

Double wall oven CABINET (or materials to build the cabinet)

Heating and air conditioning systems (Duct or ductless)

  • Lodge–(1) 2000 sqft
  • Quad–(4) 600 sqft units
